Application Tips

Start with a clean, dry face and make sure that any moisturiser that you use is absorbed into the skin before you apply our mineral powder foundation as this gives a clean, clear base to build up from. If your moisturiser isn't absorbed, the minerals will clump and spread unevenly. Tap a small amount of mineral foundation into the lid of the jar and swirl your brush into it, then tap the brush onto the plastic sifter to shake any excess powder back into the jar. Apply the powder foundation in short, feathery, downward strokes so that the fine hairs and pores on your skin lay flat. You may keep adding layers of foundation until you've reached your desired coverage. Please note that our synthetic cosmetic brushes are made especially for the application of our loose mineral cosmetics, if you use any other brush the results may not be as good. If you need to conceal any blemishes, use our concealer brush to apply the foundation onto that area. Be sure to blend out the edges. If you prefer liquid foundation either add a little water to the mineral foundation and mix well until you've reached your desired consistency or if you have dry skin, try mixing in a dab of your usual moisturiser or jojoba oil instead.

Absolutely love this

I've never tried a powder foundation before but as I'm getting older all the creams seem to make my complexion look worse. To be honest I didn't hold out a lot of hope as I'm not great at applying stuff either. I tried the powder as soon as it arrived and to my surprise it was incredibly easy to apply and my skin looked great, just how I wanted it to look. Even my husband commented that i looked well, I will certainly be buying this again..

Stunning Flawless Blurring Finish

I bought Cinnamon finishing powder and the foundation powder in Sincere. Used a very light dusting yet gives a lovely blurring effect. Subtle, natural finish. I like a dewy effect but as my sunscreen is dewy they will have a glow from underneath. That said, they are not massively matt anyway - as in they are matt in a good way not a powdery way. Just natural. Definitely gives a lovely finish that just makes you look healthy and soft and put-together. Confidence-boosting. The pots only let out a small amount at a time which is a good thing as it stops you getting powder everywhere or inhaling it. It's tricky to know what colours to choose so I will give a brief overview: I am Caucasian though not very pale skin. Not sure if I am more neutral or warm undertones. I tan easily. Both these colours are lovely particularly for summer. I will likely buy a shade lighter in the foundation also but I would say overall you may want to go for a shade (or more) darker than you think in the foundation. I have previously tried all the expensive brands but this gives the nicest effect - I have been searching for something this good for months! And they don't contain talc like most powders do which is great. The customer service is absolutely first class - thank you. From a very discerning yet very pleased customer!
